Today, controversial Limpopo rapper Lehlogonolo 'Shebeshxt' Chauke laid his daughter to rest after a tragic accident took her life. Onthatile Gladys Chuene (8) was buried at his home in Lebowakgomo, Limpopo.
Shebeshxt made a special arrangement with the hospital where he is being treated to be discharged for his daughter's burial. Laid in a white casket with Disney's Frozen animation, the burial was attended by family and close friends. Shebeshxt penned a heartbreaking note to his daughter. "You left a huge void in our hearts. I don't think we will ever recover from this," he said. "We might seem strong, but deep down we wish we could wake up from this terrible nightmare and see your beautiful face and hear your wonderful voice saying, 'Ke rata Batswadi baka ka pelo ka moka' (I love my parents wholeheartedly)."

Shebeshxt was involved in a car accident that landed him in ICU. Provincial Department of Transport and Community Safety spokesperson Tidimalo Chuene confirmed that the accident happened on the R37 near the Smelters Mine outside Polokwane in Limpopo on his way to a gig at around 10 pm. His car reportedly overturned after colliding with a truck killing his daughter and seriously injuring the rapper and another passenger. The police are still investigating the cause of the accident. This week, the Changura rapper was discharged from hospital to attend his daughter's funeral. A close friend of the musician says his wife Kholofelo Chuene has not been able to eat and speak since the accident happened. "She is not okay and was given medication to calm down. She has not been able to eat. We hope she gets through this because she has endured a lot."
This is not the first time Shebeshxt has been involved in a car accident. The self-titled 'President ya ma 2000' explained what transpired when he had the previous accident. He said he was in traffic, and a fan overtook other cars to try and take a selfie with him. "He overtook other cars and stopped right in front of my car," he said. "I crashed into his car. What was I supposed to do, fly over his car? Now I am the one that is at fault," he explained.
